Can we just take a second to talk about 'The Walking Dead'? If you don't already know of this show, where have you been?! If you're a sucker for Horror and a brilliant story line, with likeable characters, this is the show for you!
I started watching it last month, and I absolutely fell in love with the show. I'm not going to lie I was unsure whether I would like the show or not at first, but once I started I just kept wanting to watch the next episode and so on. The way they capture the story is incredibly breathtaking. You begin to form an emotional attachment to each character from the very beginning. My first attachment? Rick of course! As I watched on I liked Glenn and Carl. But my favourite has to be Daryl (Norman Reedus). He's the most self-less character, without him the show would be missing something. The way he looks for the good in his horrible brother is just amazing. I am currently towards the end of Season 3, and I cannot wait for whats to come!
Season 3 Episode 4 was unfortunate, when Lori dies after childbirth. Carl having to deal with it was incredibly upsetting, not forgetting he has to shoot his own mother in the head. What got me the most is when Rick breaks down and how he has to deal with not only the loss of his wife but his best-friend, as well as having to lead and take care of the rest of the group.
Every single character in this show is portrayed with such strength, not to forget how awesomely gruesome the zombies look ;). I cannot wait to catch up!
I know there is a similar show which has come out called 'Fear The Walking Dead' is that any good? Should I give it a watch? let me know in the comments below :).
